Epik High (에픽하이) is composed of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz. The group is known for combining different styles of hip hop, along with different musical genres and collaborations on each album. The group has been on hiatus since 2009 whilst members served individual mandatory military service. On July 25, 2012, YG Entertainment announced that they would sign Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz (Tablo already being signed as he had a solo album under YG).
 
The trio returned with their 7th album three years after their last release, ‘Map the Soul‘. Epik High finally made a comeback with their 7th album ‘99‘. ’99′ is also Epik High’s first album under YG Entertainment they already release their new music videos for the songs "Up (ft. Park Bom of 2NE1)" and "Don't Hate Me."

The hilarious horror parodies featured in Epik High‘s comeback music video for “Don’t Hate Me” Released on October 19th, the music video depicts the younger versions of several figures from popular films like the Joker from ‘The Dark Knight‘, Two Face also from ‘The Dark Knight‘, Hannibal Lecter from ‘Hannibal Rising‘, Jigsaw from the ‘Saw‘, and Chuckie, creating a comedic team of ‘rebellious Avengers’. Added to the mix are also little versions of Lady Gaga in ‘Monster’ concept and G-Dragon in ‘One of a Kind‘ concept.
 
The crew can be spotted wrecking havoc in the background of the supermarket Epik High is recording in with some hilarious captions to wrap it all up.

The title track “I Don’t Need a Man” is a southern hip-hop song composed and written by J.Y. Park. The song has a bright melody and sings about young women who work hard and live confidently without needing a man to survive.
